I agree with both sides here, and I think that you should be able to make the menu yourself. On the other hand, if you feel uncomfortable than you should have a paid professional arrange your restaurants menu. If you know the language your restaurant speaks than you should definitely attempt the creation of your own menu (especially if your not a franchise). Moreover, the menu is a common ground when people go out to eat, so it needs to attract the audiences attention and appeal to them. Also, If you have children, you could turn the menu creation into an arts an crafts project and make this into a fun project.
