Thumbs up Your Point of Sale Ststem and Loyalty Program

Using your point of sale to drive your loyalty program is key to success in a down market. How you get your customers information is up to you,an example would be to create comment cards and a place for the customer to enter there name,e-mail,birth and annviverity dates.... with this information you can issue them a loyalty card from your point of sale system. The loyalty card looks and acts like a gift card.One can set up the loyalty program several ways within your POS, ie;so many dollars spent the customer gathers point redemable for whatever you want to give away.The most common "prize" is % off there next visit.I have a customer that gives a vacation package 4 times a year to Hawaii and his restaurant is always packed.. I have been there and asked his guests why do you come here so often and the all have just about the same comment" the service and food are awesome and where else can you go these days and receive a great meal and a chance to win something let alone a trip anywhere besides to a ATM to withdraw money to eat!!! If you dont have a Point of Sale System and a good one YOU ARE LOSING MONEY!
