I recently read an article about menu design in The New York Times. It's an interesting article and well worth your time reading.

After reading this article I started thinking about the need for restaurateurs to redesign their menus. I believe that most restaurateurs need outside feedback, but I know that menu consultants are very expensive and not always in touch with your site.

So, if you are in need of some outside feedback on your menu. We have a great community of restaurateurs that could give you some great expert advice (for free)! In your E-mail please send me a copy of your menu if you can (if you don't have an electronic version you can mail me a copy). Also let me know how long you have been using this menu and if you use menu covers, laminated, or plain paper for your menu.

I will send you a series of questions so that people can get a feel for the type of restaurant you have and the feel that you want to convey.

There are lots of groups helping each other on the internet. I think we can make this the place to go to get great, free advice on menu design.
