It's not just Valentine's Day this year... and it's not just a Valentine's Weekend... IT"S A VALENTINE'S THREE DAY WEEKEND!!! You should celebrate, but there's too much to do before next weekend.

Here are three ways to make sure you are taking advantage of this great opportunity:

1) Look Sharp! If you need new Table Linens get them. If you have been putting off ordering Menu Covers, Get them. Tell your staff it is expected that they dress extra nice for all three nights. Tell them early so they have time to have their nicest outfits cleaned.

2) Get the Bounce Back Business! Print up some coupons that tell your customers that they are your Valentine so you will give them 20% off their next visit.

3) Build your list! If you collect information for Birthdays and special occasions make sure you put out a special effort this weekend to build your list. Make sure you are collecting Anniversaries as well as Birthdays. If you aren't building a list of customer special occasions, you should look into it fast.

Valentine's weekend is going to be a great boon to your business. Make sure you don't just settle for one good weekend. Use the weekend to build your long-term business.
