Default Software to manage a restaurant

Hi, I'm Giorgio.
I'm opening an italian restaurant pizzeria. So I'm looking for a point of sale to manage the restaurant.
There will be a kitchen for the restaurant and ones for the pizzeria.
I would a system that could delivers orders quickly and easly in order to increases efficiency of ordering.
The program should be easy to use and operate on Mac, windows and Ubuntu.
I know Orderman as a program, but it's so complicated to use!

Could you suggest me a software to manage a restaurant, please?

Thank you
Giorgio

I use Restaurant Manager and absolutely love it. It's very user friendly also. If you have any other questions concerning the program, just yell.

Hello, giorgiocreta!

The best one solution for your needs is QuickOrder software. I'm using it to run my restaurant.
You can dowload the program at
Easy Free Restaurant Order

It's free, user friendly and available for Linux, Ubuntu and Mac.

Let me know!

Smile Taking Online Reservations

I totally agree that a POS is really important to have. It just sets the tone throughout your restaurant of being a professional, slick, outfit.

One service that we've been using for just a couple of months now is Save My Table (I think the address is just Save My Table | Restaurant Host Stand Software), but it's allowed us to take on-line reservations really nicely - but also it manages our entire dining room seating. It tells the host where to seat each party, and gives them estimated seating times too. We've been really impressed with it so far.
