Is it time to re-think Menu Covers
A customer of KNG recently called us to talk about a trial that they were conducting. They are a very nice upscale restaurant with a great reputation for high quality food and great ambiance.
As with many up-scale restaurants, their customers are moving down-scale and they were having a hard time making ends meet. They made the bold move to change their menu to include some of their value favorites, and some new items that they could offer at lower prices than their old items. In order to drive home the new value pricing, they changed from foil stamped leather menus to casual menu covers.
They are now attracting customers that have always wanted to go to their restaurant but felt they couldn't afford it. The owner tells us that this saved their restaurant.
