Default Thanksgiving to go

Has anyone offered Thanksgiving dinner to-go in the past? How did it work for you?

Default my thoughts...

First of all "HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL", especially in these trying times for all of us resturanteurs, we still have our families and sanity to be thankful for (smile).
We have just started as of Nov.1, selling our unique "Cuban Regional Staples" BY THE POUND. If you haven't figured it out by now we are an authentic Cuban/Spanish restaurant. (actually the only one in our state). Much of our success has been because we are so unique, and in our quest for great service with great unique food, we have built quite a following. Now, our guests have almost demanded we provide our delicacies for large quantity take-out only. Which we are abliging, and getting a huge response.Hey, instead of the traditional "American Thanksgiving Dinner" we are offering the traditional "Cuban Thanksgiving Fare" and it is working...If your food is really unique (not the vanilla hamburger) you know what I mean, then start banking on it by providing it by the pound??? It's just another avenue for revenue.....Good Luck!
