I had this idea for software that I thought would help restaurants and wanted to see what owners thought of it.

It would be on the web where customers could order their food ahead of time. Not to be cooked just ordered to their liking. After they ordered they would be given a confirmation code. When being seated at the restaurant they would give the hostess their confirmaiton code. The waitress would then print the order off, walk to the table and verify it and then put the order in. I believe this would save time that a waitress is at each table taking someone's order freeing her up to focus more on keeping customers happy. It would also get customers in and out faster if you are a busy restaurant meaning being able to serve more customers. Any feedback on this idea would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
