I'm 58 years old and have decided to start a diner to help out a couple of family members who lost employment due to the economy. I'm not welll off, but I have enough to start the diner. I am hoping to make some sort of profit from it, but I need it to at least pay for itself.

I happened to bump into this forum 3 days prior to the date set for me to sign a 5 year lease. The lease is $2600 per month for 2300 sq ft of space. I'm not really sure what I am asking... well, I guess I am. I'm looking for encouragment to go forward or a good arguement for my keeping my signature to myself and to go on about life.
